John Freshwater continues to testify in his own defense in a hearing to determine whether or not his teaching contract with Mount Vernon City Schools should or should not be terminated.

Freshwater is being asked questions regarding what he would have said if interviewed a second time by the firm which investigated allegations against him for the school district.

In addition, Kelly Hamilton, Freshwater’s attorney is guiding Freshwater through his employee evaluations, according to Pam Schehl, News reporter attending the hearing.
