MOUNT VERNON — Henry’s At The Historic Curtis Inn has reopened for business. The restaurant, which serves authentic Indian cuisine, had been closed for renovations, in part to comply with Knox County Board of Health requirements.

The restaurant has passed inspection. According to co-owner James Rhinebolt, business has been good since the restaurant’s reopening.

“Things are going great,” he said. “The community has really responded to what we’ve done to the restaurant and the different renovations we’ve made. And our business has pretty much doubled since we’ve reopened.”

Rhinebolt said renovations include a complete remake of the bar floor with a new hardwood floor, new carpet, painting, new woodwork, new tables and chairs, new kitchen equipment and bathrooms.
