GAMBIER - Knox County Sheriff David Barber confirmed the death of Jean R. Davis, 54, this evening. Davis was found this morning after a friend called 9-1-1 after Davis failed to show up for church.

Although Barber would not comment as to the cause of death, he did confirm her truck to be missing. It is a tan 2002 Chevy Avalanche with Ohio license plate CV93HJ. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of this vehicle is asked to call (740) 397-3333 immediately.
