MOUNT VERNON — A Mount Vernon man is in fair condition this morning at OSU Medical Center after being shot early Sunday morning at Riverside Park.
According to the Mount Vernon Police Department, Jesse Ervin was shot in his shoulder at Riverside Park. He then apparently drove himself to 105 W. Chestnut St., where the Mount Vernon Poice Department responsded to a 9-1-1 call.
The shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Craig Fenney at 393-2930.
