MOUNT VERNON — Rick Warren, a Kenyon College soccer coach, testified this morning in the termination hearing of John Freshwater.

According to Mount Vernon News reporter Pam Schehl, Warren stated an e-mail entered into evidence by the Mount Vernon Board of Education was not the same as Warren recalls it.

The e-mail, according to Schehl, involved an invitation for Warren to speak at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting.

It is expected that MVBOE attorney David Millstone will begin his cross-examination of Freshwater today.
