FREDERICKTOWN — A 14-year-old girl suffered a head injury when she slipped and fell on the ice on Knox Lake on Sunday evening.

Christy Hart was taken to Knox Community Hospital; the status of her condition was not available from the hospital today. The Fredericktown EMS squad was called to the marina off of Armentrout Road, east of Fredericktown, at 8:33 p.m.

The Fredericktown EMS did not have the parents’ names; Knox Community Hospital would not give their names, citing privacy concerns.
