The recent removal of all of the cats from the Knox County Humane Society Cat Shelter was done without the knowledge or approval of the humane society board of directors, according to board president David Guffey.
The Danville Village Council welcomed two new council members at its meeting Monday.
“We’re working as diligently right now as we did the day it happened,” said Knox County Sheriff David Barber of the Jean Davis murder investigation, now in its third week. “It remains our priority case.”
