MOUNT VERNON — Two people were arrested Thursday morning by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office following a break-in at a Danville business.

According to Sheriff David Barber, deputies were called to Mickley Plumbing at 28870 Mickley Road at approximately 6:30 a.m. Thursday after the owner discovered the business had been broken into. The owner reported three firearms and two crossbows were missing from the shop.

Barber and Deputy Kevin Durbin discovered and followed shoe tracks in the snow which led from Mickley Road to a residence on Walnut Street in Danville. Deputies and Detective David Light located the stolen firearms and crossbows inside the Walnut Street residence. Two people living at the residence were arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail.

Barber identified those arrested as 25-year-old J-Ro L. Sharp of 3 Walnut St., Danville, who was charged with a probation violation; and 41-year-old Christine D. Fogle of 3 Walnut St., Danville, who was charged with obstructing justice.

Additional charges are expected to be filed when the case is presented to the Knox County Prosecutor’s Office, according to the sheriff, who credits the arrests and recovery of the stolen property to Deputy Durbin’s observations and the joint effort by the sheriff’s office Patrol and Detective Divisions.
