MOUNT VERNON — The hearing session scheduled this morning in the termination hearing of Mount Vernon Middle School teacher John Freshwater has yet to start as of 10:40 a.m.

David Millstone, attorney for the Mount Vernon Board of Education, and Kelly Hamilton, attorney for Freshwater, have been in conference with Referee R. Lee Shepherd since 9 a.m., according to Pam Schehl, Mount Vernon News staff reporter.
