MOUNT VERNON — A gradual renovation project which has been taking place at Premiere Theatres Inc., on Upper Gilchrist Road, over the last two years is nearing completion. According to general manager Melinda Levings, the conversion of two more of the venue’s six theaters to stadium style could see the two screens in use as early as the first weekend of February. The official grand reopening of the facility will come on Feb. 20.

“It’ll be big,” Levings said. “We’re still planning what all will be taking place for this special celebration.”
