Dismantling the bridge
The old steel truss bridge over the Kokosing River on Big Run Road will be cleaned, repaired and rebuilt by August. The U.S. Bridge Co. of Cambridge has the contract for the project. On Wednesday afternoon, Doug McLarnan, who lives down the road, watches as workmen dismantle half of one side as a start to the project. Clearing the hydrants
Hunting for a fire hydrant when called to a fire is not something firefighters want to encounter, so they are out shoveling snow from around the hydrants around town.
