MOUNT VERNON — A county-by-county study released Wednesday comparing the health of residents gives health officials a starting point in the ongoing effort to make them healthier.
“It’s a snapshot based on a number of statistical reports and data,” said Dennis Murray, health commissioner for Knox County. “We see it as an opportunity to see some of the county’s strengths and weaknesses, some things we can evaluate to make the county stronger.”
