BANGS — There will no longer be sled riding at Chapel Hill Golf Course on the steep drive off Johnstown Road.

“It’s too dangerous, we had some riders sledding out onto the road, someone could get hurt and then there is liability,” Golf Pro Brian Bridges said this morning.

The steep hill has been a popular place for sledding with many families when the snow falls. Bridges said they have posted no sled riding signs on the hill.
