The winter of 2009-10 has been a challenge to those who are charged with keeping the roads clear. Perhaps the most unsung heroes of snow removal are the employees of the different townships, who are up anywhere from 3 to 5 a.m. on a cold, snowy morning.
Working in teams, chef and catering students from around the area put their culinary skills to the test during the 2010 Culinary Affair with Pork Cook-off.
The audience listened closely as five speakers spoke about their personal experience dealing with problems of depression, post traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse and bipolar disorder, as well as the perplexities faced by a parent, guardian or caregiver of someone with mental or behavioral problems.
What is everything? Two old saws cut different ways: One says that “timing is everything,” the other says “location, location, location” is everything. When both are combined at the same time, there may not be a name for it, but it certainly bodes well for what results.
Weather observers are everywhere. Every county in Ohio has at least one, and some counties have more. With the recent snowfalls that fell in February, one Centerburg resident has been busy.
