MOUNT VERNON — Voters looking to get a jump- start on learning the position of candidates in the May primary need only wait a couple of more days to get their first official dose of campaigning.
Sponsored by The Ohio Liberty Council, and supported by the Knox County 912 Project and Organizing for Freedom, Saturday night will be the first of four open debates in the District 18 Candidate Night Series.
“This is important so people have a chance to interact directly with potential office-holders,” said Warren Edstrom, Knox 912 member and moderator for Saturday’s event. “Too often we are spoon fed campaign information, so this will give people a chance to vet those candidates.”
