FREDERICKTOWN — Production awards were the highlight of the Knox County Dairy Service Unit’s annual meeting, held Saturday at the Fredericktown United Methodist Church.

Kenneth and Marilyn Ruprecht received the High Rolling Herd Average for milk, fat and protein, as well as the Most Improved herd for milk, fat and protein. Hi Hills Farm received the award for Low Herd for Somatic Cell Count.

Kokosing Farms LLC Bouton Family received the award for High Cow for Milk Production (Elegant, 39,320 pounds) and the High Cow for Fat and Protein Production.
