FREDERICKTOWN — The naming of the 2010 Knox County Lamb Ambassador was one of the highlights of the 2010 annual meeting and banquet of the Knox County Sheep Improvement Association.

Jared Hathaway was named the Lamb Ambassador for 2010, taking over for John Ruckman. Hathaway will fulfill his duties throughout the year, especially at the 2010 Knox County Fair, promoting the lamb industry in Knox County.

The association’s annual service award went to Earl Colopy, who could not be in attendance for health reasons. The award was accepted for him by his wife, Bea, and daughter, Rochelle.
