FREDERICKTOWN — Project Lead the Way and Gateway to Technology were featured presentations when the Fredericktown Board of Education met on Tuesday.
Instructors Robert Miller, Bradd Stevens and Don DeMarco were joined by several students to give an overview of the projects in which different engineering classes are engaged. The board learned about counting in binary form, how engineering and design can be used to create puzzle cubes from leftover wood scraps, the use of civil engineering and architecture in designing lakefront properties, and discovered how technology could be used to sort recyclable trash.
