CENTERBURG — At Monday’s school board meeting, Chris and Susie Cordle donated $400 to the general fund, and a number of individuals gave a total of $1,107 to the Jacque Cordle Scholarship Fund. The Jacqueline McCalla Cordle Learning Center Fund also received $200 through individual donations.
Treasurer Ellen Scott said on Tuesday the rest of the meeting was largely routine. In addition to accepting the donations and approving routine fiscal actions, the board authorized an agreement with Direct Energy Business to make sure the district gets the best rates possible on electricity.
