MOUNT VERNON — The number for the Knox County Sheriff’s Office toll-free crime tip line has changed. The new toll-free number is (888)-363-TIPS (888-363-8477).

Sheriff David Barber encourages people to use the tip line to report drug activity, suspected child abuse and other criminal activity, which can be done anonymously.
