The Knox County Democratic Party Headquarters, located on the square, was vandalized by spray painted graffiti of the word, “Dorks” on it’s front window. “It really bothers me that someone would do this,” said Jim Zak, chairman of the KCDP. “I don’t know what they would gain, but this looks bad on our community.” Zak was called 10 a.m. Monday morning about the incident, and has since reported it to the Mount Vernon City police.
