CENTERBURG — The Centerburg Trojans Robotics Club recently won the Buckeye Regional FIRST Robotics competition, and qualified to compete in the international competition. Team members have decided not to participate in that contest.
Scott Trumble, team mentor, said on Wednesday, “I was unbelievably moved by these kids. Last night, the students, many of whom who are seniors, looked at our finances, and chose to forgo their trip to the championships to ensure that next year’s team would have the necessary resources. I could not be more proud of the kids.”
