Minor injuries when car flips

The gouge in the sod caused the car in the background to flip after running off Ohio 95, two miles east of Fredericktown, Saturday at 4:45 p.m. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Nicole Cline, 18, Mount Vernon, was eastbound when her car ran off the right side of the road. She overcorrected, and her car spun around and off the left side of the road into the embankment. She and her passenger, Austin Cline, 15, had minor injuries. She was charged with failure to control.  (Virgil Shipley)

Moore inducted into District 11 HOF

Former Mount Vernon head boys basketball coach Dave Moore, right, was inducted into the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches District 11 Hall of Fame at a banquet on Saturday night. Moore, shown above, was introduced at the District 11 All-Star Games in Granville on Friday night. Joining Moore was former Pickerington coach Keith Ebright, wearing white.
