FREDERICKTOWN — On Tuesday, the Fredericktown Board of Education accepted the resignation of social studies teacher and head football coach Luke Beal, and subsequently employed Brian Baum to fill those positions.

Treasurer Pat Miller on Wednesday said the board also commended the district’s bus drivers and custodians for the excellent job they did during all of this winter’s inclement weather. the board also discussed the work Central Ohio Technical College is doing to spruce up the administration building, including plans to stripe the parking lot. She said the fitness center area is also “moving along.”
