MOUNT VERNON — Possibilities for expansion of the Adult Education facility took center stage during Thursday’s meeting of the Knox County Career Center school board.
Superintendent Bernie Pachmayer said on Friday that the board viewed an architect’s virtual rendering of what an expanded adult education building might look like. She said board members discussed the merits of renovating the current building, and also kicked around the idea of purchasing a property in downtown Mount Vernon to accommodate the growing adult education programs.
