Randy Staton, Amity, was hunting mushrooms Thursday night when he came across this pint-sized morel. “I know you always do the biggest mushroom but I didn’t know if you’d be interested in a picture of the smallest,” he said. “It’s the smallest I’ve ever seen.” Staton said he found it in the Nunda Road area. Two swimmers represented the Mount Vernon YMCA at the National Swim Meet at the International Swimming Hall of Fame Pool in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., from Tuesday, April 6, through Saturday, April 10.
