EK football players volunteer on trail

On April 10, East Knox football players spent the morning volunteering on the Kokosing Gap Trail. The players focused on landscape projects in the Gambier area — placing mulch around trees, leveling pavers near the restroom facilities and picking up debris. According to trail board president Randy Cronk, the players did an outstanding job and had a fun time working together to make the area look great. Participants, from left, include Coach Calvin Hatfield, Cody Totten, Ian Lashley, Cade Mickley, Jamison Shriver, Trent Simmons, Baxter Westover, Drew Faucett, Devin Faucett, Alex Casebolt, and Athletic Director Derick Busenburg.  (Submitted photo)
