Getting new windows
The C.A. Jones Building on the northwest corner of Public Square is getting 64 new vinyl windows to replace the old wood-framed windows. Korby Bricker, who purchased the building in January, said apartments will get new doors and other updating. He said the building, constructed in 1902, is very solid. The High Restaurant, Gault’s Cleaners and the Family Barber Shop have businesses on the street level. The John Troyer Co. of Esto has the contract for replacing the windows, estimated by Bricker to cost $25,000. (Virgil Shipley)
