Sunday car show
Wesley Crum’s classic 1957 Chevrolet 210 sedan was the People’s Choice among the 50 cars entered in the annual car show Sunday at the Knox County Fairgrounds. The Chevy was once owned by the late NASCAR racing legend Dale Ernhart Sr. Befitting racing, it has a 358-cubic-inch NASCAR engine and Munci four-speed transmission. “It is,” Crum said, “very fast.” The show is sponsored by Ohio Masonic Lodge 199 and Glenwood Chapter Ohio Eastern Star Chapter 303 of Bladensburg. The groups use the proceeds for charitable purposes. (Virgil Shipley)
