  • Gambier approves water main relocation

  • May 4, 2010

GAMBIER — The Meadow Lane water main relocation project was the highlight of a light agenda for the Gambier Village Council on Monday night.

Village administrator Suzanne Hopkins reported she publicly opened the bids for the project on April 28. The bids ranged from a high of $165,000 to a low of $113,000 by Canyon Construction Co.

“Construction of the water main will start June 14,” Hopkins said. “It will last approximately 60 days if everything goes right. The village will do its best to maintain traffic on Meadow Lane throughout the project.”
