  • May 8, 2010

FREDERICKTOWN — The Fredericktown Police Department is looking for anyone with information regarding suspicious activity on Wednesday night around the Fredricktown Chevrolet new car lot at 95 S. Main St.

According to Fredericktown Police Chief Jerry Day, a red, 2010 Corvette was stolen from the lot after closing on Wednesday. Day said the car had no tags and no keys when it was taken.

“If anyone was in the area and saw anything suspicious — people wandering around, looking at the car — give us a call and let us know,” Day said.

Anyone with information can contact the FPD by contacting the Knox County Sheriff’s Office at 397-3333.
