FREDERICKTOWN — Tuesday’s meeting of the Fredericktown Board of Education was largely routine, with reports from administrators and committee members.
Regarding personnel, the board accepted the resignation of school psychologist Mark Boertjie, effective the end of the school year. It also entered into a contract with the Knox County Educational Service Center to provide a licensed practical nurse to meet the needs of a medically fragile student for the 2010-11 school year, employed summer school staff, added Heidi Ehrst to the classified substitute list, issued a number of supplemental contracts for the 2010-11 school year and approved Cliff Carpenter as a volunteer coach with the girls basketball team.
