  • Autumn Health Care takes over ownership of nursing home

  • May 17, 2010

MOUNT VERNON — The management and staff of the former Rose Garden Nursing Home, 303 N. Main St., announces that Autumn Health Care is the new owner of the 29-bed skilled and intermediate care facility. Autumn Health Care also has two assisted living homes in Mount Vernon, at 1133 E. Gambier St.

“Ideally, in the near future, our objective is to combine both locations into one campus,” said Zandra Smith, administrator of Autumn Health Care of Mount Vernon. “All of Autumns’ facilities provide comprehensive nursing and rehab services to assist a patient in obtaining their greatest level of independent function. Each facility remains small in resident population so that personal, special care can remain the focus. Our employees are committed to giving personal attention so that our residents receive the highest quality care possible.”
