GAMBIER — Kenyon College seeks comments and insights from the public as it prepares for a college reaccreditation visit by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
Kenyon has been accredited by the HLC since 1938 and undergoes a comprehensive evaluation and visit every 10 years. The last reaccreditation was in 2000. A team representing the HLC will visit Kenyon on Sept. 27 through 29 to review a self-study, gather information, and make a recommendation on Kenyon’s accreditation status to the HLC, which takes the final action.
The public is invited to submit comments to the HLC regarding Kenyon by Aug. 27. Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs. All comments must be in writing and signed. Comments cannot be treated as confidential.
