DANVILLE — The Ohio School Improvement Process was the main topic at Danville’s school board meeting on Monday. The report, Treasurer Mary Payne told the News on Wednesday, was given by Knox County Educational Service Center consultant Bonny Buffington.
Buffington outlined the steps the district has taken, and talked about the collaboration with teachers and administrators to develop strategies to help the students be the best they can be. The four main strategies are focus on positive behavior supports, curriculum alignment, assessments and instruction strategies. Payne said the strategies and improvement plan will be communicated to all the staff and the community, “so all can be involved in making a difference.”
