The tradition of placing rose petals on the graves of veterans of the Civil War was observed Monday at those graves in Mound View Cemetery. Rain affects parade, festivities in Danville

Jackets earn top honors

Volleyball Masters wins Ohio Valley Region
The Volley Masters volleyball club of Mount Vernon, directed by Adrienne Delph, won its division in the Ohio Valley Region Tournaments in Columbus on May 16. The team went undefeated in the tournament.
