MOUNT VERNON — The John Freshwater termination hearing resumed this morning for the first of five scheduled days this month.

According to Mount Vernon News reporter Pam Schehl, Michael Molnar is on the stand this morning testifying as part of Freshwater’s defense.

He was questioned in his capacity as teacher and principal in the Beachwood City School District near Cleveland. Schehl said he discussed the district’s policies and procedures in regard to insubordination, mandatory reporting of suspected child abuse and neglect, and what he considers a religious display.

For more information on Molnar’s testimony and additional witnesses expected this afternoon, read Thursday’s edition of the News.
