  • Centerburg High graduates 100

CENTERBURG — One hundred members of the class of 2010 looked back at 13 years of memories and said goodbye to the halls and classrooms at Centerburg High School during graduation ceremonies Saturday in the gymnasium.

The 100 seniors entered the gymnasium to the traditional “Pomp and Circumstance,” performed by the Centerburg High School Band. Class Vice President Taylor Helfant then led the Pledge of Allegiance before the high school choir sang the national anthem and the Centerburg Alma Mater.

After a welcome from Class President Megan O’Sullivan, five seniors — Jordan Fodor, Mackenzie Fulks, Joseph Teale, Jordan Posey and Michael Neiswander — joined the choir for the song, “We’ve Come a Long Way.”

Three salutatorians — Jacob Anderson, Kierra Dye and Alissa Guitner — gave speeches, followed by the four valedictorians.
