This building at 3 Maplewood Ave., Mount Vernon, has been referred to the Mount Vernon law sirector for the purposes of filing charges. The building has been condemned by the Mount Vernon Dilapidates Buildings Commission.  (Virgil Shipley)

Montgomery road bridge nearly finished

The new bridge project on Montgomery Road at the east edge of Fredericktown is nearing completion. In this photo, the metal floor is almost in place. It will be covered with concrete for the road surface. The 137-foot-long bridge is made entirely of galvanized steel.  (Virgil Shipley)
