Work continues on bridge
The new bridge on Range Line Road, just south of Tulloss Road over Sycamore Creek, is about 75 percent complete, according to Larry Bechtel, Knox County assistant engineer. In this photo a crew is grouting with concrete between the floor beams. Bechtel said a concrete floor will be poured over the beams, completing the road surface. R&L Construction of Tiffin is the contractor, and is also building new bridges on Gilchrist Road and Possum Street. (Virgil Shipley)
