MOUNT GILEAD — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle, fatal injury crash. The crash occurred Saturday at 8:17 p.m., on Ohio 3 in Knox County.

Joshua N. Anderson, 27, of Mount Vernon was operating a 1993 Jeep Cherokee. He was traveling northbound on Ohio 3 and drove off the right side of the roadway, striking a culvert. After impact with the culvert, the vehicle became airborne and overturned, ejecting Anderson.

Anderson was transported from the scene by the Mount Vernon Fire Department, and was taken to Knox Community Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Seat belt was not in use at the time of the crash; the crash remains under investigation.
