  • July 12, 2010 10:32 am EDT

MOUNT VERNON — A custody dispute at a Coshocton Avenue restaurant involving a small child, resulted in multiple calls to 9-1-1 by observers Saturday evening.

The child involved was not injured, according to Mount Vernon Police Capt. George Hartz.

At 7:15 p.m., 9-1-1 received the first call from the McDonald’s at 1059 Coshocton Ave. about a fight between two adults over a small child.

Hartz said the situation was a domestic custody dispute, and two officers responded.

He said criminal charges in the matter have not been filed.

“That is still being decided,” Hartz said this morning.

No names are being released at this time.
