Taking out a fence
Jesse Roush, 18, Fredericktown, was taken to Knox Community Hospital as a precaution after driving her 1988 Ford Bronco off Ohio 229 three miles west of Mount Vernon at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday. She told the Ohio State Highway Patrol fog and traffic caused her to drive off the right side of the road. The truck jumped over a culvert and took out a string of fence and post before coming to stop against a post. She was wearing her seat belt. She was charged with failure to control. (Virgil Shipley)

Rolls-Royce interns help restore history
Rolls-Royce interns volunteered to help restore the Woodward Opera House as a community service project. They are tearing down an original brick wall and preserving the brick materials to be used later throughout the building. (Alan Reed)
