MOUNT VERNON — A suspect wanted in connection with the raid on two methamphetamine labs the morning of July 14 has been arrested.

According to Sheriff David Barber, a nationwide warrant had been issued for the arrest of 25-year-old Bradley James Hinkle of Frazeysburg.

Hinkle has been charged with two third-degree felony counts of “illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs” and a warrant for his arrest was issued last week.

Hinkle was arrested late Tuesday morning by Knox County detectives after they located him in northern Licking County. Hinkle is being held in the Knox County Jail.

Early the morning of July 14, detectives and the Tactical Response Unit discovered and shut down two methamphetamine laboratories on VanWinkle Road outside of Bladensburg.

Barber praised the energy and tenacity of Lt. Gary Rohler, Sgt. Roger Brown and Detective Doug Turpen, which resulted in Hinkle’s apprehension Tuesday.
