MOUNT VERNON — The civil suit between the Doe family and John Freshwater has come to an agreement, according to a spokesperson for the clerk of courts for the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio, Eastern Division.

A jury trial was scheduled to begin today.

No details of the agreement were available to the News at press time. Read Tuesday’s edition of the News for details.

A hearing is scheduled for Thursday to review a motion regarding possible sanctions in the case.
