MOUNT VERNON — Several breeds were well represented Sunday afternoon at the Rabbit Show in the small animal barn at the Knox County Fair.

While each breed had its own Grand Champion and Reserve Champion, at the end of the afternoon, the Best in Show honor went to 14-year-old Andy Rieman’s Netherland Dwarf doe.

Country Outlaws 4-H Club member Rieman, who was competing for his sixth year, said he became interested in competition 16 years ago, when his sister began showing.

When asked what he like best about showing rabbits at the fair, Rieman quickly replied, “winning!”
