  • July 27, 2010 10:52 am EDT

MOUNT VERNON — More than 200 head of hogs entered the show arena Monday evening at the Knox County Fair for the 2010 Swine Show.

A total of 17 classes came out, one by one, with the top hogs being chosen in each class to come back later for the championship round.

“This has been a great show this year,” said Todd Creager, Swine Show judge, who has officiated numerous county, state and national shows. “I would take the top four or five from this year and put them up against last year’s champions,” said Creager.

Class 6 winner was Alynnza Brady of Walhonding, who in just her second year of showing, won her class for the second straight time.
