MOUNT VERNON — After nine classes and 90 animals were judged in the ring, Grand Champion honors were awarded to Kyle Daniels of Fredericktown, who is a member of the Mount Vernon FFA. “I’m really surprised,” said Daniels who was showing for just the first year in this competition. “I’ll be ready for more next year,” he added. Daniels is also showing swine and broilers at this year’s fair.

Reserve Champion honors went to Anesha Tharp of Danville, who is a member of the Winners Attitude 4-H Club.
