Driver OK after rollover crash

Ellis Brothers ready mix cement truck driver Terry Grubaugh escaped with a cut on his left hand after his truck tipped over this morning on Springwater Drive, west of Mount Vernon. Grubaugh was northbound around a curve when the truck rolled on it’s side dumping some of the load of wet concrete. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.  (Virgil Shipley)

CES Credit Union wins District 5 title

The Mount Vernon CES Credit Union 10-year-old All-Star team won the 2010 9- and 10-year-old District 5 championship on Saturday. Noble wins three races at fair

Dan Noble, driving Ritz Tracker (1), passes Near The Limit (7), driven by J.D. Wengerd, in the fourth race of the night on Tuesday at the Knox County Fair.
