  • City to conduct water test

  • August 2, 2010 10:34 am EDT

MOUNT VERNON — The city of Mount Vernon will be conducting a test early Tuesday morning at 1 a.m. for the north end water tower.

Safety-Service Director David Glass said residents north of Mound View Cemetery in areas of Mansfield Road to Wooster Road may experience discoloration in the water but there is no cause for alarm. The city doesn’t anticipate any problems nor a change in water pressure during this time.

Residents are advised to contact the city at 393-9520 if they have problems with water pressure or other concerns.
